Product description
Grub screws EN 632.9 with ball end are made of plastic, making them lightweight, resistant to corrosion and electrically insulating.
They are used with thrust pads GN 631, GN 631.2 and GN 631.5 for clamping and pressing.
Together with the thrust pad, the ball end forms a ball joint that adapts to clamping surfaces that are uneven or not perpendicular to the screw axis. It also prevents the rotational movement from being transferred to the clamping surface during clamping.
The ball diameter d2 is smaller than the core diameter of the thread, so that the grub screw can be screwed in on the ball side.
The ball pin snaps securely into the respective thrust pad and can be removed again if necessary.
