GN 291 Linear Actuators Steel / Stainless Steel, with Right or Left Hand Thread

The load data apply to GN 291, GN 292, GN 293 linear actuators made of steel (SCR) or stainless steel (NI).
The specified forces Fy and Fz cause a flexure of the guide tube of approx. 0.5 mm.

A lead nut moves in axial direction over the ball bearing trapezoidal thread spindle of the linear actuators. The drive key ensures the anti-rotation and provides the connection to the different linear actuator connectors. The linear actuators are designed for manual operation (handwheel).

The positioning accuracy is 0.2 mm / 300 mm stroke, the backlash is max. 0.1 mm.

Guide tubes are available in chrome plated steel (SCR) or stainless steel (NI). They are manufactured with the tolerance range of DIN 2391 or DIN 2462 precision
steel tubes.

A wide variety of different components are available in the connector clamp range to mount the linear actuators in place and to upgrade them to linear actuator
connectors.

Also, digital position indicators (Digital Position Indicators EN 953 / Digital Position Indicators EN 954 / Digital Position Indicators EN 9053 / Digital Position Indicators EN 9054 may be attached to measure the movement or the
position.

For applications where high torsionional moments Mx occur, linear actuators with square tube or double tube linear actuators should be given preference.

Also for square tubes there is a wide variety of different components available from the connector clamp range. The linear actuator connectors are composed of
two-part elements, with the effect that the precision of the square tubes involves no special requirements.

The longitudinal scales GN 299 of type A and B are normally used in connection with the linear actuators Linear Actuators GN 291 and Square Linear Actuators GN 291.1, the scales of type C and D are normally used for the linear actuators Linear Actuators GN 292 and Linear Actuators GN 293.

Longitudinal scales can only be ordered togehter with linear actuators.

Two parallel sliding linear actuators GN 291 are connected with a transfer unit GN 391.
The angular housings GN 298-W including the bevel gear wheels GN 297 and another transfer unit GN 391 connect the handwheel with the system. The handwheel is placed in a rectangular position to the moving axes.

Two flanged linear actuator connectors GN 146.1 are moved parallel. For this two linear actuators GN 291 are connected with a transfer unit GN 391.

The T- and angular gear GN 298-T/-W including the bevel gear wheels GN 297 and another transfer unit GN 391 connect the handwheel with the system. The handwheel is placed in a parallel position to the moving axes.
