Standard parts made of rustproof stainless steel have been designed for use in the food sector, in the chemical industry, for aggressive ambient conditions or for outdoor use.
Threaded tube ends GN 992.5 are inserted in the tube with the use of a mallet. The lamellas bridge an inner diameter tolerance in either round or square tube of ± 0.5 mm. This enables the installation of threaded studs in tubes, e.g. to accommodate threaded leveling feet.
The dimensions are based on GN 990 construction tubings, however a check of the tolerance position of the tube is recommended.
